Local Cancer Patient Celebrates Recovery During COVID & Last Treatment
A message of hope worth spreading! After 3.5 years of cancer treatments at our Carson Tahoe Cancer Center, Trent Almeida is finally done! He finished his treatment for Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia Monday, Sept. 14.
Because the cancer center is limiting visitation at this time, Jen Almeida, Trent’s mother, coordinated with one of his nurses and the Carson Tahoe Ambulatory Infusion Center to throw a socially-distanced celebration in the parking lot of the Carson Tahoe Cancer Center. His friends and family came from near and far to share his big day that was full of smiles, tears, and laughs!
We wish you the best, Trent! You’re not only #TrentStrong, but you are also #CarsonTahoeStrong!
