Easy Energy Bar Recipe

Try this tasty snack for a power boost the next time you’re out and about! Serves 32 Ingredients 2 tablespoons butter 2 cups miniature marshmallows or 20 large marshmallows, snipped 2 tablespoons peanut butter 4 cups high-protein cereal 8oz chopped dates 16oz peanuts (salted okay, but avoid dry roast) 8oz sunflower seeds 5oz pecan halves 6oz milk chocolate pieces 6oz peanut butter pieces 15oz raisins Directions Step 1 In a heavy skillet, melt butter. Add marshmallows; heat and stir until mixture is melted and syrupy. Step 2 Remove from heat; stir in peanut butter. Add cereal and mix until coated. Eagle Squat Salsa

By Glen Eagle’s own Chef John Ammerman Salsa World Championship winner 2006. Ingredients 5lb heirloom or garden fresh tomatoes 4 cloves garlic 2 bunches green onions 1 medium red onion 1 bunch cilantro 2 medium jalapenos 1 medium red pepper 1 medium green pepper 2 medium limes 1 tablespoon kosher salt 1 teaspoon cumin Directions Step 1 Dice the tomatoes, red onion, jalapenos and peppers. Step 2 Mince garlic cloves and chop the green onions and cilantro. Step 3 Mix all the ingredients, adding the juice of the two limes and cumin. Salt to taste. (store in refrigerator)
