May 29 was a special day at Carson Tahoe Health—not just because we welcomed five beautiful newborns into the world, but also because each of these tiny new Nevadans received a gift with a future in mind.
In partnership with the Nevada State Treasurer’s Office, Carson Tahoe was proud to participate in a heartfelt initiative that awarded each family a $529 contribution toward a 529 College Savings Plan, bundled into a celebratory “529 basket.” These baskets, given in honor of National 529 Day (5/29), are more than just a thoughtful gesture—they’re a step toward empowering families to dream big for their children’s futures.
From cozy blankets to college-bound savings, these gifts represent hope, opportunity, and the belief that every child deserves a bright beginning. At Carson Tahoe, we’re honored to help usher in these moments and support our community in meaningful, lasting ways.
