Carson Tahoe Health Recognizes Lesch Family for Compassion, Generosity & Community Support

In heartfelt gratitude, and in recognition of their compassionate legacy, a plaque was recently installed at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center’s front entrance in honor of the Lesch family’s many contributions over the years.

“At Carson Tahoe Health, we are profoundly grateful for the $314,000 the Lesch family has donated in support of cancer care and other lifesaving capital projects,” said Kitty McKay, Foundation Director. “The definition of a champion is ‘a person who supports a cause on behalf of someone else.’ Northern Nevada has been blessed by the incredibly generous support of the Lesch Family—champions for causes that enhance the lives of people in our community.”

Over the years, the Lesch family has been filling significant funding gaps for crucial needs that bolster the health and enhance the lives of people in our community, from nursing education to programs that help area kids. The family also donated over $100,000 to create the Regional Medical Center’s new entrance, which opened in December 2015.

“This dedication plaque will warmly welcome patients and visitors as they pass through the hospital’s doors for years to come,” added McKay.
