Ever committed to community, Click Bond, a local manufacturing company, created their first-ever employee giving the campaign to support Carson Tahoe Health’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. They raised a total of $5,110, which supported the purchase of life-saving technology and equipment needed to protect our patients and our caregivers from the spread of disease.
Click Bond’s Community Outreach team gathered early in April to identify a way to help our community through these trying times. They wanted to do something impactful and immediate, as a swift response to the pandemic would better protect our community in the long run. Sensitive to the growing needs of the healthcare community, they decided to support Carson Tahoe Health’s COVID-19 Response. Employees were encouraged to donate through a dedicated online portal. When Click Bond leadership learned of the campaign, the company eagerly chose to match employee contributions dollar for dollar.
Click Bond’s Community Outreach Lead, Ellie Keene, describes why giving to Carson Tahoe’s COVID-19 Response was meaningful for her: “I have a family member who works at Carson Tahoe, so for me, it was great to contribute to something that is both local and personal.” Another Click Bond team member, Mia Lugo, expressed that she was glad to be able to help such an important cause at a difficult time.
At Click Bond, community partnership is a part of the culture. From support for the Special Olympics to bringing education to rural areas, and encouraging students’ passion for aerospace manufacturing and rocketry, this local company shows up for their community. Carson Tahoe Health Center for Philanthropy is grateful for their partnership and heartened by the giving spirit of their team.
