Celebrating Carson Tahoe’s Employee Donors: June Spotlight

At Carson Tahoe, generosity comes in many forms. Whether it’s time, talent, or treasure, our employees consistently go the extra mile to support our mission of providing hope and healing to our community. Through the Carson Tahoe Foundation, many of our team members make personal contributions to help patients and families when they need it most.

This month, we’re thrilled to highlight two incredible Employee Donors, Amanda Toalson and Brandon Cox, whose heartfelt contributions are creating brighter futures for those we serve.

Amanda Toalson

Manager, Case Management/Utilization Review, Integrated Care Management

Amanda has been supporting the Carson Tahoe Foundation since 2018, dedicating her donations to the Area of Greatest Need. Her work in Case Management has given her a unique perspective on the barriers patients face when transitioning to the next level of care. Amanda explains:

“I donate to help provide for patients something they may not have the ability to access on their own. In Case Management, we focus on discharge planning to ensure patients achieve the greatest success possible when transitioning to the next level of care. We see firsthand the barriers our patients face, and I want to help in any way I can.”

Amanda’s commitment to supporting our patients extends beyond her daily work, helping ensure every individual has the opportunity to succeed.

Brandon Cox

Manager, Business Analytics & Contracting

Brandon joined our community of Employee Donors in 2023, focusing his contributions on Behavioral Health Services. For him, giving is a natural extension of humanity and compassion. He shares:

“For me, it’s simple: I give because it is the right thing to do, it is being human. If my donations can help make a difference in even one person’s life, I am all in! There are so many people in our community that just need a hand up – especially when it comes to access to mental health resources. I just had to get involved once I learned everything that Carson Tahoe is doing to help in that area!”

Brandon’s contributions reflect his belief in lifting others up and ensuring access to vital resources for those in need.
