Have you been lusting over a long weekend on the slopes and it’s finally here? And all of a sudden, you are wondering what in the heck you should bring?! Well, don’t panic, packing for a ski trip isn’t as daunting as it sounds. And while the clothes may be bigger than say if you were packing for the beach, don’t let that deter you. The most obvious thing about a ski weekend is the fact that it will most likely be cold.  One of the great things about spending a weekend on the slopes is that you’ll be in your snow gear all day, the only real clothes you’ll need is if after you want to enjoy some of the resort restaurants or shops or just lounge around. We are going to break down your packing into a couple easy lists linked with items we are loving for the season!

First and Foremost! Essential Snow Gear:

Snow pants of course! We like this nice, simple option/ A warm base-layer undershirt, it’s all about layering/ Cozy socks / Gloves (these ones you can still use a smartphone without having to remove!) / Goggles / A Helmet (which is a MUST) / A nice warm beanie for under your helmet

On to what to bring when off the mountain!

A nice, but WARM jacket / Boots to keep your feet dry and cozy / Lined winter leggings keeping you warm and fashionable / A bag that can withstand the elements!

And, finally! The accessories to make it all come together

Protect yourself from harmful UV with yummy smelling sunscreen / A drugstore favorite, ChapStick avoid harsh temps and winds / A personal device and fun earbuds for apps, music, and even directions! /  A small pouch to keep money and credit cards safe while on the hill / Polarized sunglasses to avoid harsh snow reflections/ Easy to pack snacks for energy on the hill / Finally, what’s a trip away without a camera to capture the memories!
