• Expanded cancer services, and renamed the cancer center to the Carson Tahoe Cancer Center, an Affiliate of Huntsman Cancer Institute, University of Utah
• Partnered with local health entities to support the Sierra Pediatric Blood & Cancer Consortium
• Established comprehensive Population Health Management Program in collaboration with our local health partners
• SART established in partnership with community stakeholders
• Participated in and supported Each One. Tell One. to raise awareness community-wide of dense breast tissue

New Services, Upgrades, and Technologies:

• Opened the new Center for Wound Healing, Reno
• Upgraded the Regional Medical Center entrance, paved with donor bricks
• Expanded the emergency department upon receiving a $500,000 donation from the Mallory Foundation. Renamed it to Mallory Emergency Department
• Launched comprehensive, multidisciplinary Lung Screening Program, including low-dose CT scans and superDimension ENB procedure
• Sierra Surgery became fully integrated with the Carson Tahoe Health System; renamed to Carson Tahoe Sierra Surgery
• Upgraded all of our imaging modalities throughout the healthcare system; technologies include a new GE 3T MRI (MR750w) inside Nevada’s 1st “Patient Caring Suite,” GE 128-slice LightSpeed CT, ‘Smart Technology’ LOGIQ E9 Ultrasound, and more

Milestones:

• Celebrated 10-year Anniversary of the Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center and Medical Campus
• Carson Tahoe Cardiology celebrated five years officially with Carson Tahoe Health
• Established Nursing Shared Governance
• Carson Tahoe Center for Wound Healing celebrated two years

• Earned CIHQ Accreditation for state-of-the-art quality of care
• Sword & Shield Enterprise Security HIPPA Compliance Program – Earned the highest possible security rating for electronic patient health information
• Carson Tahoe Sierra Surgery – Earned 2015 HealthInsight Award for High Performance in Quality Care Measures and Patient Satisfaction
• Achieved “Meaningful Use” (Patient Portal)/ICD-10 implementation
• Raised record-high $120,000 at HopeFest in support of local cancer patients in need and no-cost Merriner Cottage lodging
