Carson Tahoe Health is pleased to welcome Candace Carter, APRN, to the Reno Primary Care Clinic. A Northern Nevada native, Candace is passionate about providing patient-centered care and helping individuals take a proactive approach to their health through preventive medicine.
Candace earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Chamberlain University and is board certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She provides comprehensive primary care for patients ages 12 and older. She focuses on building strong relationships and supporting long-term wellness goals. Her passion for healthcare comes from seeing firsthand the positive impact compassionate medical providers have on individuals and families. As a Northern Nevada native, she is proud to care for members of the community she calls home.
“My approach to care is centered around the patient,” says Candace. “I am incredibly passionate about preventive care because it serves as the foundation for overall well-being. By partnering with patients and focusing on prevention, we can help people live healthier lives and address concerns before they become more serious.”
Outside of work, Candace enjoys spending time with her two daughters, exploring the outdoors, running, and even line dancing. She also shares her home with Daisy, her beloved 11-year-old chocolate Labrador, who keeps life entertaining.
