Celebrating Connection: One Team Day Wraps Up a Joyful Hospital Week

Carson Tahoe’s One Week celebration came to a meaningful close on Friday with One Team Day—a vibrant event focused on connection, collaboration, and care for the whole self.

Hosted in true CTH fashion, employees were invited to explore five interactive stations centered around holistic wellness:

• Food – Healthy snacks and treats to nourish the body
• Wellness – Mindfulness tools and resources to support mental wellbeing
• Music – Rhythmic relaxation and uplifting tunes to feed the soul
• Art – A space for creativity and expression
• Play – Lighthearted games and raffles to spark joy

Each table offered not only a chance to unwind and connect, but also to engage with the core components of mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing. Staff were encouraged to take a break, have fun, and reflect on the power of teamwork—all while earning raffle entries for some exciting prizes.

The energy was high and the spirit of togetherness was unmistakable. From laughter shared over cornhole games to quiet moments spent creating art, One Team Day reminded us that caring for ourselves and each other is at the heart of what we do.

One Week in Review

This year’s One Week was packed with joy, gratitude, and celebration:

• Monday: Sports Day kicked off the week with friendly competition and team spirit.
• Tuesday: Disney Day brought out the magic in all of us, complete with churros and Mickey ears.
• Wednesday – Beach Day: The halls of Carson Tahoe felt like a mini vacation as staff dressed in their tropical best—think Hawaiian shirts, flip flops, and sun hats. With beach tunes in the air and summer energy all around, it was a lighthearted escape that lifted spirits and brought smiles throughout the day.
• Thursday: Glitz & Glam Day celebrated the stars of CTH with sparkle, desserts, and well-deserved recognition.
• Friday: One Team Day closed the week with an emphasis on unity, wellness, and the joy of being together.

As One Week wraps up, we’re reminded of the incredible strength, compassion, and dedication that define our Carson Tahoe family. Thank you to everyone who participated and helped bring this special week to life. Together, we are truly One Team.
