Last week, Carson Tahoe Health celebrated National Hospital Week through its annual One Team Week. The celebration recognized the people who make compassionate care possible across the organization every day.
Centered around this year’s theme, “Going the Distance,” the week featured five days of activities. These included themed events, games, giveaways, food specials, wellness activities, and pop-up celebrations. Team members also had opportunities to connect across Carson Tahoe Health locations.
From Cars-themed races and patio celebrations to camping-inspired activities, wellness-focused events, virtual games for remote employees, and special rounding visits for swing and night shifts, One Team Week was designed to celebrate every team member and the important role they play in caring for our community.
Celebrations extended throughout Carson Tahoe Health facilities, including Eagle, Dayton, Minden, Reno, MICA, SMC/BHS, the Cancer Center, ENT, Urology, Curry, Carson Mall, MOB, and more. Team members participated in themed dress days, passport challenges, daily raffles, and activities that highlighted the teamwork and culture that define Carson Tahoe Health.
National Hospital Week serves as a reminder of the dedication shown by healthcare workers and support teams across every department. One Team Week reflected Carson Tahoe Health’s appreciation for the employees who continue going the distance for patients, families, and one another every day.
Thank you to all Carson Tahoe Health team members who helped make this year’s One Team Week such a success.
