George Allison Honored for a Lifetime of Service in Nevada

Carson Tahoe Health longtime volunteer George Allison has received the 2026 Lifetime Achievement Bronze Award at the Stars of Nevada – Governor’s Points of Light Awards, presented by Caesars Entertainment. The Nevada Volunteers recognition celebrates his enduring dedication to serving others and strengthening his community.

For George, that commitment is rooted in a family history closely connected to Carson Tahoe. Both of his parents worked at the original hospital on Fleischmann Way, and his mother, Helen Allison, served as its first female administrator. A retired attorney, George carried that connection forward through his own years of volunteer service and support.

Carson Tahoe previously honored George with a lifetime achievement award during its 75th anniversary celebration in September 2024. This latest recognition extends that appreciation statewide, celebrating a commitment to service that spans generations.

Please join us in congratulating George on this well-deserved honor. We are grateful for his dedication to Carson Tahoe and the community we serve.
