We’re thrilled to welcome Kim Nischik, PA-C, to the Carson Tahoe Health team! Specializing in psychiatry with a focus on addiction medicine, Kim brings a patient-centered approach and a deep passion for whole-person care.
After working extensively in addiction medicine, Kim was inspired to further explore psychiatry due to the high prevalence of co-occurring disorders in her patients. Her commitment to expanding her knowledge and skills in order to better serve individuals with complex behavioral health needs is truly commendable.
Kim holds a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Pacific University, and a Bachelor of Science from Boston University. She is a Fellow Member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, and also affiliated with numerous professional organizations including the Nevada Academy of Physician Assistants, California Academy of Physician Assistants, and the American Society of Addiction Medicine. She also serves as a Community Faculty Member for the University of Nevada, Reno Physician Assistant Program.
In 2024, Kim was honored as Professional of the Year by the Dry Society Social Club, a recognition that highlights her dedication to her field and her impact within the community.
When Kim’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, swimming, practicing Pilates, reading, and diving into home DIY projects.
